Survey Numbers Surveys may be filed under County Survey Number. The filing by County Survey Number began in 1991. Example “00-014”. Prior to 1991 surveys in Jefferson County were recorded in the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office. Some of these earlier surveys may be filed simply with a book and page or with a microfilm number. Examples: “BK3PG295” and “MF891813”.
Partition Plat Number Partition Plat Number is the number assigned to a Partition Plat by the Jefferson County Clerk’s office beginning in 1990. Note that the Partition Plats filed in 1990 are formatted using a 2 digit year “90-XX” (90-01 thru 90-08). For subsequent years the Partition Plats are formatted with a 4 digit year “1991-XX”.
Subdivsions Subdivisions recorded in Jefferson County are filed with the Jefferson County Clerk’s office and are then assigned a subdivision index number. You can find an alphabetical index by Subdivision name here ... details Example “SubP001”.
Corner restoration records Oregon Corner restoration records are recorded in the Jefferson County Clerk’s office and given a unique microfilm number. The original Oregon Corner Restoration Records are assigned a unique corner index number according to this scheme.... details Example “2156-1113-02”.
Miscellaneous Surveys There are also miscellaneous surveys that have not been formally recorded in the clerk’s office, but have been accepted by the Jefferson County Surveyor’s Office for filing. These surveys have been assigned a unique number. Example “S190”.
Hand drafted maps There are also hand drafted index maps of the GLO corners filed by Township. We call these a “County GLO Corner Index Map”. Example “11s13e”.
Township and range This references the Public Land Survey System. The first two numbers refer to the Township (S); The next two numbers refer to the Range (E); The next two numbers the section number; The next two numbers to the quarter and quarter-quarter section. Example “111311AB”.
Survey Date The specific date that the survey was recorded. Example “1-15-1991”.
Client's Name The name of the people contracting the work

C.S. Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you enter the County Survey Number.

The CS Number is a unique number that the County identified each survey e.g. 00-003
Township - Range Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you enter all or part of the Township and Range informtion.

Enter without the direction suffixes e.g. 1113 would give a broad search for Township 11S, Range 13E. 111314 would narrow the search down to the section and all the quarter and quarter-quarter maps.
 
Survey Date Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you enter the survey date. The general format month - day - year . For Example, 2-3-2000 or 7-21-2000  


Client Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you entered who the job was ordered by.

By entering "Jefferson" you will see Jefferson County as well as Jefferson County Surveyors Office. Just enter part of the last name or the name fully spelled out.
 


Subdivision Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you enter the Subdivision name.

e.g. Yarrow will return all references to Yarrow subdivision and all its phases. Just enter the beginning of the subdivision name.
 


Clerk Recording Number Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you entered the Clerk's recording Number.

The format of this number varies and all all documents are recorded in the County Clerk's Office. This is a unique number to tie to the Clerk's database system.
 


Surveyors License Number Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you entered the Surveyor's License Number. This is a unique number and is the official surveyor's license number  


Surveyors Name Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you entered the Surveyor's Name. Just enter part of the last name or the name fully spelled out.  

Surveyors Firm Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you entered the Surveyor's Firm. Just enter part of the firm's name or the name fully spelled out.  


Survey Type Search:
Returns detailed information for surveys after you enter the type of survey.
E.G., Boundary, BPA, Condominium, Control, Corner Restoration, County GLO Corner Index Map, County Road Maps, Field Books, GLD, GLO Field Note, Legal Description, Mortgage, ODOT, Parcel survey, Partition, Partition Plat, Property Line Adjustment, Property Line Adjustments,
